Dr. G. Mohankumar is a distinguished ophthalmologist, renowned for his exemplary service and surgical expertise in the delta region of Tamil Nadu. His unwavering dedication to community eye care has earned him national recognition and the deep respect of both his peers and patients. In 1998, he completed his fellowship and advanced training at Queen’s Medical University Hospital in Nottingham and Hertz Hospital in Watford, England, under the aegis of the Commonwealth Association (CAMHADD Fellowship).
Completed Diploma in Ophthalmology (DO) at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai (1991–1993), under the mentorship of Dr. G. Venkatasamy, a global pioneer in ophthalmic education and service.
Earned Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Ophthalmology from Thanjavur Medical College in 1994, further strengthening his academic foundation and clinical expertise.
